It is Kapps LLC's ("Kapps", "we", "us", or "our") policy to respect your privacy and comply with any applicable law and regulation regarding any personal information we may collect about you, including via our app, Sleek - To-Do & Task Manager ("Sleek"), and its associated services.
Personal information is any information about you which can be used to identify you. This includes information about you as a person (such as name and email address), your devices, and information about how you use the app.
Information We Collect
Information You Provide
We collect information you knowingly provide when using Sleek, including:
- Account Information: Name, email address, and authentication credentials when you sign in with Apple or Google.
- User Content: Task titles, list names, notes, due dates, priorities, reminders, and other content you create within the app.
- User Settings: Your preferences such as theme, font, appearance mode, and notification settings.
Information Collected Automatically
When you use Sleek, certain information is collected automatically:
- Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers.
- Usage Data: App interaction data, feature usage, and error/crash reports.
- Log Data: Internet Protocol (IP) address, timestamps, and general activity information.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve Sleek's core features and services.
- Sync your tasks, lists, and settings across sessions.
- Send local notifications for task reminders you have set.
- Process subscription purchases and manage your Pro account status.
- Analyze app performance and fix bugs via crash reporting.
- Display advertisements to free-tier users.
- Customize your experience based on your preferences.
- Communicate with you about service updates when necessary.
Third-Party Services
Sleek uses the following third-party services that may collect and process your data:
Firebase (Google LLC)
- Firebase Authentication: Manages user sign-in via Apple and Google. Collects authentication tokens and account identifiers.
- Cloud Firestore: Stores your user data (tasks, lists, settings, subscription status) on Google's cloud servers.
- Firebase Analytics: Collects anonymized usage data and app events to help us understand how Sleek is used.
- Firebase Crashlytics: Collects crash reports, device information, and error logs to help us identify and fix bugs.

Google AdMob (Google LLC)
- Displays advertisements to free-tier users.
- May collect device identifiers, ad interaction data, and approximate location for ad personalization.
- You can manage ad personalization in your device Settings > Privacy.

Google Sign-In (Google LLC)
- Used as an authentication option.
- Collects your Google account name, email address, and profile information during sign-in.
Apple Sign-In (Apple Inc.)
- Used as an authentication option.
- Collects your Apple ID and, optionally, your name and email (which you may choose to hide).
Apple StoreKit (Apple Inc.)
- Processes all in-app purchases and subscription payments.
- We do not collect or store your payment information directly. All payment processing is handled by Apple.
Data Storage and Security
Your user data (tasks, lists, settings, and subscription status) is stored in Google Cloud Firestore. We protect your information within commercially acceptable means to prevent loss, theft, unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use, or modification.
Although we do our best to protect your personal information, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute data security. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account password and for any activity under your account.
Data Retention
We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide our services. If you delete your account through the app (Settings > Profile > Account Settings > Delete Account), we will delete your personal data from our servers within 30 days.
We may retain certain information for legitimate business purposes or as required by law, such as to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.
Children's Privacy
Sleek is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.
Your Rights
Access and Correction
You may request details of the personal information we hold about you. If any information is inaccurate, out of date, or incomplete, you may request that we correct it.
Data Deletion
You may delete your account and associated data through the app (Settings > Profile > Account Settings > Delete Account). You may also request data deletion by contacting us at hq@kapps.us.
Data Portability
You may request a copy of your personal data in a machine-readable format.
Marketing Opt-Out
You may opt out of any marketing communications by contacting us or using the opt-out facilities provided.
Non-Discrimination
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights.
Data Breach Notification
In the event of a data breach that is likely to result in a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify affected users and relevant authorities in accordance with applicable law.
International Data Transfers
Your data is processed and stored on servers operated by Google (Firebase) which may be located outside your country of residence. By using Sleek, you consent to the transfer of your information to these facilities. We ensure that transfers from the European Economic Area (EEA) to countries outside the EEA are protected by appropriate safeguards, such as standard data protection clauses approved by the European Commission.
European Union (GDPR) Compliance
If you are located in the European Union, you have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):
- Legal Basis for Processing: We process your personal information based on: (a) your consent, (b) performance of our contract with you, (c) our legitimate interests in operating and improving Sleek, and (d) compliance with legal obligations.
- Right to Restriction: You may request that we restrict processing of your data under certain circumstances.
- Right to Object: You may object to processing based on legitimate interests.
- Right to Portability: You may request your data in CSV or other machine-readable format.
- Right to Erasure: You may request deletion of your personal data. We will comply within 30 days unless we have a legal obligation to retain it.
- Consent for Minors: For users under 16, parental or guardian consent is required.
California Privacy Compliance (US)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) provides you with additional rights:
- Right to Know: You may request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
- Right to Delete: You may request deletion of your personal information.
- Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA rights.
Categories of Information Collected in the Past 12 Months
- Identifiers: Name, email address, IP address, account identifiers.
- Internet Activity: App usage data, feature interactions.
- Device Information: Device type, operating system version.
At this time, we do not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals. We do not sell your personal information.

Business Transfers
If Kapps is acquired, merged, or enters bankruptcy, your personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. The acquiring entity will continue to honor the commitments made in this Privacy Policy.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or via email. Your continued use of Sleek after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
